Nereida A. Parada, M.D.

Dr. Parada obtained her medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York. She joined the faculty at Tulane University Health Sciences Center in 2000. She is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine, critical care, and allergy and immunology and focuses her clinical practice in asthma care. Her Mind-Body Wellness workshops have been attended by over 250 people within the Tulane academic community – medical students, residents, and the community at large. She is enrolled in the CMBM certification program. Her main interests are medical, hospice, and community education and to help physicians integrate these skills into patient care. Dr. Parada has been listed in Best Doctor and Top Physician since 2005.
